Morning journal,   Today is looking pretty good so far. Need to take sis to see her asthma dr this afternoon, and hubby will see his cancer dr today and will also have his iv treatment, so we are tied up with drs today. saw my leg dr yesterday and was told it is not infected in the bone. I guess I knew this,so this is good. They now think maybe it is abcess,so back on antibiotics..it still swells up and still hurts but seems to be a bit better. If I could stay off the leg it would probably heal faster...But being we always are on the run for something, well it means I am using the leg...Very hard to stay off of it...I seem not to be able to get on here daily, but I look forward to mails from my friend Lori on here, so always check this first! She sure is a breath of sunlight to me.. it is something that we can make friends here and chat with them, even tho we have never met. It is a good feeling to be able to write and not be judged..Thanks to all of you!! My one special friend Lori, seems to me we have known each other a long time, yet only a few months ago, I never heard of her. I really marvel at the computer, as what a way to get to kow people and to become friends. I am not saying all of you are not specal,as each of you in your own way, hold a special place in my heart. I really didint think I would ever come here and write my feelings to stangers, yet it has become something I do now.Today is looking like a very good day for me...woke up early and played afew of the games on the internet, and about ready to tackle some cleaning here. I will see sis this afternoon, and take her to see her dr. She is doing rather well now since her bout at the hospital! Of course with her alzheimers, she is very confused, but this is normal, and I am beginnign to accept this from her. it still is very hard to have a conversation with her, or even to talk to her, but I can listen and believe me she sure can talk alot. Not that I understand everything she says, but at least it givesher time to talk...This is what she always did, even before alzheimers.. TALK talk talk. Being her twin is sure something,as we really do not have alot of things in common, yet she and I were best of friends for many years. I believe the one thing we have in common is the love of country music.. I have taken her to Branson 2 times in the past few years, and she loved every minute of being there. I have to say that I enjoyed it also! I sure wanted to take her on a trip to Nashville to see the grand old opra, but do not think I will be able to do this now. She is hard to watch and now has begun to wonder a bit, and I would hate to lose her in Nashville. I am so glad to have taken her to Branson when she could enjoy it. She doesnt remember alot of it now, but at the time she sure loved it. I talk to her about it and she thinks she remembers it....and of course we have alot of the CDS which I play for her, and we both try to sing the words.. I even had gotten her the movie they made of one of the shows, and it shows us having a good time. She loves seeing herself in this movie.and believe me she knows just when they will show her too...Hubby is at the drs right now and will have anoter iv treatment. Hope he comes home feeling good!! He sure is one strong guy and nothing seems to get him down..I try not to dwell on his cancer, even tho sometimes it makes me angry and mad at everything. I still cant even think of him being gone from me as 44 years together has been wonderful. How lucky can one lady get??? Today I am handling it all very well, but times will come that i cant handle it.. Thats when I can get on here and cry and bit--h at everything...this is also when I have a pity me party...but today is good and I am going to keep being up beat today...Well journal, sure not getting any housework done sitting here  and believe me I need to really do somethings around here.. Where are the cleaning elves whenyou need them??

Those elves are sure NOT at MY house, lol!!! So glad you & sis could enjoy Branson together when you did, and I\'m sure that your talking about it, and playing the music and the movie brings her happiness now, and that\'s important, too. You will keep the memories for the both of you. Hope all goes well with hubby\'s treatment today. Try to allow some time for YOU - to put that leg up and rest it a bit! Keep cool & take care. Lots of love & hugs, Lori

Thank goodness theres no infection in the bone. Hopefully the antibiotics will take care of it. I hope that your hubby does well with his treatment. Im so glad that you and your sister got to go to Branson when you both could enjoy it together. You will always have those memories. I can tell you one thing for sure, those cleaning elves are definately not here.
