hi Journal, Been awhile since I have been here.. Where do I start.. Lets see.. I went to my sisters house last sunday while her care giver had her out and took 24 loads of laundry to the laundry.. I believe there is probably that much left in her room still.. Came back to her house and made the bed ,and put away the clothes and put away all the blankets I had washed... My back was hurtingbut was glad to get her bedding cleaned. Had hoped it would help her asthma..Got home and was going to relax and take a hot shower and a nap when the phone ranf. It was sis's care giver. Sis had a bad asthma attack and she called 911. They took he r to the hospital.. Up hubby and I went... We were there over 5 hours, and finally they admitted her so home we went. The next morning we were up there early and walked into sis's room, and she had on a breathing machine but she had taken the face mask off. I went to find a nurse and explained she could not be left alone when it came to breathing treatments as she was alzheimers, and would take off the breathing mask..(had told them the night before she was alzheimers)..We stayed there 4 hours came home and went back that night.. Again she was in her room with the breathing machine going and no mask...again I spoke to the nurse.. The next morning, she was completely dressed, and ready to come home. The breathing machine was on and on the bed and sis was onthe chair... I raised a bit of cain this time!!! The nurse told me they did not have the extra people to sit with sis all the time... I told them they did not have to be there all the time, but to be there when she did the breathing treatments... I got my sis undressed and back into bed....Today I had to go to the MRI place for my leg. Had to lay still and on a hard bed for 1 and a half hours.. This did wonders for the back.. Couldnt even walk after this MRI,and I have to go and finish up on friday....went back up to see my sis and she was sitting there crying as she felt alone.... The dr came in and I asked if she could go home and he said no another day or 2 would be best if she stayed...Well, sis broke down and my heart just broke.Stayed with her 3 hours and another dr came in and said she could go home... I did not say anything, but got her ready to come home.. so now she is home!! Now tomorrow hubby will have his 2nd IV treatment and am hoping it goes better then last week. Anyways, sis did do some things in the hospital which were sort of funny.. She went to the lady in the next bed, (she was out completely as had surgery) and sis took her flowers and said they were hers....I gave them back..then she thought the lady in the next bed had my blanket and went to take it off her... Glad I was there to stop this!! The day my sister thought she was leaving and was dressed, she had packed her blanket, and the hospital pjs....One thing she did which shocked me was to ask who I was!!! Maybe it was the meds she was on, but it sent me up a wall.. Was niot  expecting this to happen this soon...She knew it was me when she was told I was her sister...Am not ready for this yet.....so we shall see what happens in the next few weeks. Her dog sure welcomed her home and sis cried and held her dog so close to her...That dog has been her buddy forever,so how can I put her in a home when she cant keep her dog?? I am goingto see about a nurse I guess  if she continues to have asthma trouble at night. Tonight my back is hurting alot, but  took meds for pain and have a hearing pad on it..My feet are swollen and hurt terrible...Guess it was from being on my feet so much this week. Anyways this is how my week has been going...Hope it calms down some the rest of the week. Think I am going to hit the hay as am tired, even after a nice nap!!

God love ya Phyllis. You have been so busy taking care of everyone else but yourself. I think it might be a good idea with checking into having a nurse with you sister all the time. That would take alot of burden off you. I really hope all goes well with your hubbies next treatment. And as far as you go young lady, I think you need to take it easy. Just relax and be good to yourself. Thanks for your comment on my journal. Your such a sweetheart. I care about you sooo much.
Love and hugs....Julie
