Worry

I made a big mistake at work today and I'm really scared.  I took some coupons I shouldn't have taken.  I'm really afraid this is going to be a deal breaker.  I may lose my job over this.  At the least, I will probably be talked to.  Stupid, stupid, stupid.  Deep down I questioned whether I should take them or not , but didn't act on it.  Please pray I don't lose my job over this.  As much trouble as this job has been to me physically and emotionally, I don't want to lose it.  I really need the money and if I lose this job life is going to be really hard.  There is nothing else I can do to make money.  Why oh why does everyything have to be so hard?  I don't think I will ever have any peace with this job.
I'm trying to think of some positive self talk but can't think of anything.  My tdoc says I need to start doing that more.  I see her next week.  I was also looking up volunteering and so far haven't found anything close to hoome that I can do.  Besides I don't know if I could get a day off to do it.  I just thought it would be a way to meet some people.  I'm going to keep looking though.  There's got to be something I can do.
I'm just feeling so overwhelmed with fear and trepidation.
This morning I thanked God for his blessings in my life and praised him as well as asking for help for the job.  God will take care of me.  I've got to trust Him not a job.  He is all that matters in this life.  Nothing else really matters.  Just God.

Oh hunny, they were only coupons, why would that be a deal breaker? Hang in there and yes God won\'t let you down! He never closes one door w/o opening another! HUGS :)

I think you\'re overreacting. I took coupons I shouldn\'t have back when I was a cashier, and all that happened was I was told not to take them anymore. NO big deal.

Tell yourself that you are a good employee. Most days you do a really good job with no mistakes. Target is lucky to have you! Keep telling yourself that God is taking care of you and helping you.
