It's been a while since I posted here.  Partially, it's because it's hard to keep up with so many places, I could blog in at least five places.  I generally have a hard time keeping up...  I like that it's okay to write about health stuff here honestly, I sometimes sugar coat things on my blog, or don't give all of the details... My appointment at the pain clinic went very well.  We're increasing my Oxicodone and Lyrica.  We are waiting on the Lyrica, as the nurse practitioner felt uncomfortable increasing two possibly sedating medications at once.  Can't say I blame her there.  But I am stuck waiting until I get an answer out of my primary care doctorr's clinic on if my kidney function tests show that it would be safe.  If I'd known that that was going to be so difficult, I would've asked the nurse practitioner to call herself.  Basically, the nurse from my primary care doctor's office won't tell me if it's safe until they verify that the pain clinic actually prescribed it.  I know part of it's my fault for being busy and not calling until later this week (I'm supposed to increase on Monday), but it's still frustrating.  Not to mention that I kinda hate making phone calls. I'm mostly just glad that my nurse pracctitioner and doctors generally believe what I tell them (one injection doctor is somewhat more visual and says "It doesn't look so bad" which annoys me, but I think he means well). I feel much more hopeful, that there are still things to try, and that my doctors will not give up on me.  I'm not sure why I have that fear, but whatever. It's been rainy and cold today.  We were out selling books in the morning.  That's not RSD friendly, in my opinion. Sending hugs which don't cause pain to my friends.
