It's been a while.

This year has been both good and bad so far. I will go into the bad first, I lost my favorite cousin, Amber on February 8th of this year. She was BASE jumping and her parachute did not open so she fell 2,000 feet right in front of her new husband. They had only been married for two weeks when this accident happened. It has been quite the shock for my family and she will definitely be missed by all of us.
      Now for the good, I got my CNA licence last year and got a job at a skilled nursing facility back in October of last year. I love my new job soooooo much, they treat us really well we always receive praise for a job well done. It can be stressful at times but I get along with all of my co-workers and my boss loves me and trusts me. I have never been so happy at a job in my life.
     I am currently in my second semester at school, I didn't think that I would like going back to school because I hated high school, but it is so much fun. I love my classes and teachers, and it is an entirely different atmosphere. I am working on getting my bachelors of science in nursing, and maybe working in L&D or something like that, or maybe even becoming a midwife.
     I have completely changed my attitude and people are definitely noticing the change and that makes me happy. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year brings.
