I DID it!

I wanted to wait until I had been getting around over a week without the cane before I updated again on this, I have and the cane IS gone.  I need to thank everyone for their encouragement and well wishes!  The reactions from everyone, bus drivers, neighbors etc... has been heartwarming.  You guys made me feel like I cured cancer or something!  This wasn't that big, but it was a personal accomplishment, so I guess maybe it WAS "that big"  I was starting to get a little use to the privilege of being "crippled".....dangerous, dangerous, attitude!  Thanks again everyone.
