Thursday we took mom on her referral to the gyn.  Now awaiting several test results.  Among them will be an abdominal CT on Tuesday.  The doctors are trying to rule out any additional cancer.  Mom is now a 5 year survivor of uterine & cervical cancer.  She has done well.Friday I saw my doctor.  I am now informed that it is manditory to not continue waiting for my neck surgery.  We think my knee is also getting close.  Oh well!  Will be going to physical therapy too.  Seems the muscles & joints have become stiff. Also heard from the Rehab Facility where Mom is now.  Seems they have several cases of the flu and are advising family members.  They also suggest that we not visit if we are at any type of rist (COPD, etc) and that we wash our hands thoroughly upon leaving the facility.  That means I cannot go visit for a few more days.
