Yesterday brought a flood of different emotions. We drove our son to the airport to see him off again. We were so proud of him and all the others who were also returning to service over there. They actually have evolved to allow the families to go along through security with their soldiers. As we all (50 at a time) crossed the airport toward the check-in, everyone stood up and applauded the military and some even shouted their thanks. I found my eyes getting damp from the joy of what these men & women must have felt. It is so seldom that those of us who are common folk can be such a positive center of attention. There was nothing negative about this. Even the people with whom we chatted stopped when our son approached. They shook his hand, and those of the others nearby and thanked him for being a part of this and choosing to do what he does. It was so amazing to watch. This is so much different than what we see in the media. As for Mom, she appears to continue to improve. We have several diagnostic tests scheduled for this week. We can only watch, wait & pray.

It is so awesome. I love our military. Everytime I see a military person I have to go up to them and shake their hand. I\'m proud of them all. I hope everything else is good with you. Hugs. Holly
