Seems like life just keeps rolling along and throwing rocks our way. It has been a whirlwind of activity. First with doctor appts w/ Mom who keeps getting repeat urinary tact infections.
On Friday we will most likely be referred to a urologist. Yet another doctor to add to the list.
We had my sister from NY here for 2 weeks. It was unplanned! As she was leaving 2 days after Christmas, her transmission ceased working. So she was forced to be here for another week and had a real eye-opener. Only problem with all that was that I was the only transportation to take her & Mom everyplace they wanted to go. Boy did I get tired!
Our grandson is now in Afghanistan and our son in Iraq. Soon our grand-son-in-law will be headed out for the third time to Iraq. Seems like this war will never end and now we are worrying even more about the stuff coming in through Iran. Seems like we were there already, several years ago but I don't really remember. Will have to look it up when I have the time.
Hubby & I are surprisingly doing OK with all that is happening in our lives. We would love to take a vacation & see the kids, grandkids and actually meet the great grands. But seems like that will never happen. But life will continue on around all this.
Emus are getting so big. They are now all eating out of our hands. But they let us know when we take strangers to see them. Boy do they act out. It is almost like they are putting on a show for us all. The fact is that they are letting the strangers know that they can and will protect themselves if necessary and "this is only a warm up."
Love to all
