Today was, for the most part, restful. We only went outside to take care of the birds. Yesterday we did some work around the house & we were simply tired out.Mom called about 9 PM and is hearing noises again. This time she thought someone was breaking into her house. She reports that she got up and turned on all the outside lights, but no one was around. This is about the 4th time this month. This, in addition to her hearing music that no one else in the neighborhood hears. I am so concerned. Now she is not only acting up, but is also becoming afraid to live in her own home. I am working on locating an affordable & good Assisted Living Center, but it takes time and who knows how long to work through the list. She still refuses to allow us to have anyone come and stay with her. It is becoming soooooo frustrating & scary.

I\'m so sorry to hear this about your Mom. I know you must be very concerned. What is the Dr. saying about her condition? I hope the assisted living thing comes along quickly. Will keep you both in my prayers. Love and hugs, Ann
Sorry things are going so well with mom. Hang in there everything takes time. Unfortunately.
love and hugs,
Debbie
The doctors don\'t see mom as being demented, only just a little confused. But - the big thing is that they are pushing the safety thing due to her vision and all the other health problems. We, like everyone else, just have to remember to take one day at a time.
