I checked in with Mom @ 3PM.  She claims that she "still doesn't feel right and still has not slept."  I know part of this is stress caused by that darn lawyer.  I wish I could kick his butt the other side of the earth, but realistically know much better.  But it is nice to be able to vent some here.I called the cardiologist this AM, after we got home.  The nurse told me that if these symptoms continue, we should get Mom to go to the ER.  I told her I would try, but knowing mom that it might take an army.  Mom says she is still NOT going to the hospital and is going to go back to bed.  There have not been any calls except from me, so she is somewhat relaxed about this.  All I can do is pray and let God do what He intends.Sometimes I think my mother has a real death wish and is trying to act it out.  We have had her assessed for geriatric depression and she is taking Prozac.  We also had her mental status assessed a couple weeks ago.  I knew that she would pass the MMSE, but wish they could actually be around her for a while to see the real person.  I also know that some of these episodes could be bypassed if she would just remember to take her night pills, one of which is her heart medication.  She doesn't eat at the table, so mostly forgets it.  We make calls to remind her, but if she isn't "in eating stage" she still forgets.  This AM I found the entire week of PM pills still in the box.  Again, more reason to have here in Assisted Living so that all of this can be managed for her.  I can't do it all with my own health limitations and pending surgery, along with dh's health problems.  Then add the stress of the pending deployment of two members of our family.  This is to much for us to handle, but I know that God has His plan and will work it out to His will.  He will give us the strength to do what has to be done and the rest will simply have to be bypassed.

Just from an outsider\'s perspective, I would say that you certainly have plenty of reasons to return her to assisted living. I may be missing something that you\'ve previously written, but, why did she leave Assisted Living in the first place?
