Well, I have now been up for several hours.  Looks like today is going to be a bummer too.  The sitter & her agency quit us today because they don't want be be involved with all the trouble we are having with a much larger & unnamed agency.  Looks like we will have to start all over there. As for Mom's medications.  She is still asking me why the nurse was allowed to take her pills, cut them in half. Then take the label off the bottle replacing it with a piece of masking tape and wrote on that tape the name of the medication, dosage and instructions.  This isn't the first time that this nurse has made some changes and she is only there 2 days per week.  Mom becomes very confused each time that she does something like this.  We are going to 2 of her doctors next week to discuss this.I can't even go the Mom's pharmacy to obtain accurate identification of these pills because they, under HIPA, have caused the pharmacy staff to refuse to speak with me concerning anything about Mom's medications.  Sure do hope the letters that this new lawyer writes will do us some good in these issues.

Oh, excellent, I\'m glad you have a lawyer interceding. This should help straighten some of this out...for awhile, anyway. I\'d like to say that your experience is just a blip...but my experience tells me it is not. Protect yourself and your mom as much as possible...and take a deep breath every time you have to start over. I hope you won\'t have to do this too many more times!
I\'ll be honest, reading of your trials makes me feel a little better...it\'s easy, in the midst of junk like this, to think it\'s happening to you because of something you\'ve done or didn\'t do...NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. IT\'S THE SYSTEM! Hold onto that, because it\'s the truth!

Thanks. You are right about this being the system. We have become armed and are fighting! No more just being the good guys with little comments back at them. The last conversation we had with this organization was \"Don\'t mess with me!\" This has been repeated by 3 of us in this family. We have joined hands and remain strong in this fight. \"They\" have had their warning and now they need to step back.
