I just learned that, after some serious words with an agency, my dh & I have been returned as Mom's appointed caregivers.  It took a serious fall two weeks ago, that no one told me about for several days.  Poor lady is bruised from her forehead down to her elbows. And yesterdays events that started at 6:30 AM when she couldn't move her leg to get out of bed. What ever possessed them to think that someone who lives at the opposite end of the country efficiently take care of these matters is way beyond my comprehension.  Anyway - now we can be certain that Mom will be cared for in a prompt and efficient manner.  That makes me happy.
