Livid as all can be here - fuming angry soon to go nuclear withinI gotta vent in the worst way and as you read on you'll see why.Last night, I saw on the news a traumatizing story of a van driving around with graphic pictures of abortions on the side. A local Pro Life Organziation thought it would be smart and drive around with an extremely graphic van. My 5 year old doesn't need to see this kind of stuff on the road when I'm driving her to daycare etc. Sure graphic stuff shocks but it also traumatizes people and children as well. What about childhood innocence being taken away when faced with this stuff out in public? How in gods green earth would I explain that mess on the streets? The last thing I want to to see my child freak out in the worst way from seeing this ugly van. (When I was a child I couldn't even handle watching a horse give birth video - I darn near passed out.) I would be downright livid if I had to take my child to counselling cause she's having bad nightmares after seeing this van. There is a possibility with this. She is already having bad dreams and come into my room at night to sleep. All I can think are is the consequences of this and hope that it doesn't happen. These people need to get their heads examined. I'm dead serious about this. Stuff like this needs to be banned from the general public period! The authorities haven't done a thing about it. I just couldn't believe my eyes. I go back on the road tommorrow and I hope I don't see this van........I'm working on a well worded email or fax to send to them about this. There are other effective way to promote what their cause is - not the sight on the streets. (I know I'm pro-life cause when I had severe morning sickness and was hospitalized 3 times I kept my child and she is now 5 and the light of my life!) It seems like where I live sex is easy to get and highly accessible and some of the guys I have met don't care about STDs. I got 3 offers in the past year and I turned them all down cause I am choosing celibacy. Here is the link to the site - be forewarned it is shocking and controversial to see. Very powerful images. However this shows a person what exactly I must deal with seeing driving around my city. (Course now I think I'm being a hypocrite showing the link to the site..) It has the potiential to make a person sick to their stomach. If you're able to view things with an objective mind and not have awful images effect you, then click. Surprisingly enough, being and HSP, I actually sat and watched the Passion of Christ without running away and that was one extremely graphic movie. I had to be in a certain mind set to watch that....knowing that back when Christ was on earth the world was barbaric.Thanx for listening.......I had to put this in controversal and I needed to get a sounding board behind me on this. I'm going out of my mind on this. Talk to me about this nightmare......http://www.unmaskingchoice.ca/index.html (For those with an OBJECTIVE mind.)

That is a horrible sight to be seen out on the road. Canada doesn\'t have laws about this kind of stuff? I lean towards pro-choice as in women should have some kind of choice over their own body, abortion would not be my choice though. But these people have gone too far in my mind. love, tcat
I haven\'t seen a news story busting this pro-life organization. It\'s gone too far, in my eyes and I keep thinking about my child. Legally, I\'m not sure what can be done. This should not be allowed!
That is bad, I wouldn\'t want my kids to see that either, heck I don\'t want to see that. I think the world is still barbaric in its own way. With more violence in movies on tv, more people become numb to the fact that this stuff is sick. Who wants to see that, soldiers are dying at war, but no one has a van with the pictures of thier bodies on it. I\'m with you on this one.
