Dr's
It has been almost a week since I banged my right foot into a chair... I went to the dr. on wednesday and he sent me to a specialist...so I went. Two broken toes on my right foot. ouch! No pain pills or anything except I bought two bags of frozen peas. I ice it with one and trade them when the first one isn't cold anymore. Today almost a week later my granddaughter stepped right on it. That was like breaking it all over again.
I have seen a little more of my grand kids lately and I love it. They bring a lot of stress but the love is worth it. Yesterday was their dads birthday so I had the kids make an art project for him.
I still see my therapist and that is going good.
I plan on having weight loss surgery and I will finally get to meet the surgeon on the 20th. On the 13 I will meet with a nutritionist so I can understand the changes I will have to make.
hugs to all. Susan

Susan, it is funny how we can deal with pain. Hell, I broke a rib here in Phuket falling on a glass from my bed one night. Glass did not break: rib did! I still have a lot of pain from it. However, I have suffered much worse. I am happy that you are seeing the grandkids more now as I know how important that is to you. What surgery are you going to have? (Pardon my density here! Duh! LOL!). Hugs. Neesie
It is called a Biliopancreatic division with Duodenal Switch (DS)
