Feeling better
Today I was excited to see that my packages came to my daughters (upstairs). I received my new nightgown and tunic. the nightgown is blue with flowers and a pleated bodice. it reminds me of when i used to sew for the kids (especially Shaun and Kjera).
the tunic is a dusty green and looks like textured fleece. i love it but i got it in a 3x and it is huge (or grows as worn) so it is in the laundry trying every way i know how to shrink something. if it doesn't shrink i will send it back and get a 1x. it is that big. I love it though and will replace it and get a dusty rose one too.
i have the 3 grandkids for a few hours until my oldest daughter gets home from school and then i will only have 2.
i am feeling much better since the fall. my shoulders still ache but my lower back seems ok.
i have a challenge i made to two people at church. i asked them if they write a journal and they said that they didn't have anyone to leave it behind for and that they could just write it out on the computer. i told that someone someday someone would read it just for the writing of our day (which my English teacher stressed). i told them that my 7 yr old granddaughter writes in one and he said but I'm not 7. the challenge was on..hehe..i bought two journals and presented each one of them their own. then i told them that it was up to them but even if they put a mark in it that was a small but a step in the right direction. Sunday they told me that they had written a little. so see what a little encouragement can do for someone. plus i found out he is single <3

Encouraging children to write is a good thing! It is a great way to increase facility, grammar sense, as well as vocabulary. Gee, I should write my journal in BOTH Russian and English, shouldn\'t I? Hmmm, I need to think abou this one for a bit . . . My journals are long, usually around 3000 words and that would be hard to do in Russian. Well, maybe I should just do one paragraph . . . .
Hope that that tunic shrinks for you. It, too, sounds lovely.
Hugs. Neesie
