i just don't get it...please help me understand this one...steve (a schoolmate) and i have been working on our presentation for hours. the other lady (cheryl) in our group never shows up for the meetings that we make to work one it...so now that you know some of the situation, here is what i need understanding...she went to the teacher and told her that we never have done anything toward the presentation...that she has had to do all of it. what is with it? i am making my own presentation for monday and then i will be able to take full credit for what i do. i am also gonna make my own report paper...she slipped and said that the one that she had done, she repeated what she was saying over and over to reach the pages required for the project. do you think that i am on overkill? what would you do? gotta go and work on it but i am open to all of the help that i can get....jaime

I\'ve been a similar situation. I don\'t think it would be out of line for you and Steve to go to the teacher, together, and explain to him or her, that Cheryl has not met with the two of you. You, by yourself, or Steve, by himself, would not work. The two of you need to meet with the teacher as one. It could be that Cheryl doesn\'t respect your ideas or is a control type person who has problems working with others. The two of you contacting the teacher together verifies that you have been working together and that Cheryl has not been working with you. Hope that helps.

thank you..i spent the last 10 hours making my own power point and it will have my name and steves. we are going to talk to her first thing monday..i agree with you one that you said about how it will verifys that we work together and cheryl hasn\'t. i still have the report to write but the power point is finished. thanks for your help. i really appreciate it...very good ideas...jaime
