today is my appt. with my med dr. and of course i  am headed for a manic so he won't see me crashed...maybe i should go have a fight with my son..     my cast came off today and the scar from the base of the thub to the wrist is looking better than i thought. still swollen quite a bit but i can put lotion on it..yahooooo. the theraist made me a "splint" if you can call it one. don't know how much it will be used. i have exercises that i wil do.     i treated myself to a new set of nails, fingers painted blue and thumbs painted like flags. make me feel better but really didn't have the money to do it.  maybe that will kick in so the dr can see it. my crash side. i was looking at clothes too, last thing i need to do is get in such a manic i get mself into trouble. they worked me in two days ago for today..i wish that they would work you in when you really need it. it's okay, i guess i could show him some of my journal entries...     i hope everyone is doing good, i will start reading journals, so that i can pratice moving my thumb that doesn't feel like it is attached...haha sending all of you joy and love...jaime

The crash and thumb don\'t sound any fun but your nails sure sound pretty. I do share my journals with my psychologist. It helps to keep me focused and address the problems so I don\'t feel like its all just a waste of time.

it\'s great, i am not gonna tell them i am not using the splint they made because i am finding out that if i press my hand down on the table as an other exercise the it is flattening out the way my hand is disformed which the dr.s said would never happen..so sometimes you have to try things that wil help yourself even if the odds are poor...so i am verrrrrrrrry happy that it is flattening out too... :0) :0) jaime
