Day 16

I've been so busy with finals, the end of the semester and getting ready for going home that I haven't had time to update my goal!
I've been pull-free for a total of 32 consecutive days now. This is Day 16 of my 3rd goal to be pull-free for 19 days. I leave for home this Sunday, and I'm anxious about how my parents will react when they see my hair. I'm hoping that it'll be okay. I'm about to call them in a few minutes to tell them what's been going on with trich. I'll say that I got my hair cut really short because I was afraid that I would pull with all the mounting stress. I might tell them that I pulled a little bit before getting the hair cut, but that I've been okay since. If only the right side of my hair wasn't still on the thin side, I wouldn't have to bring up the fact that I had pulled at all. Oh well. I hope they won't react too terribly.
I'm also really worried about what to do on the plane. I've been wearing hats for about a month now (wow, that's crazy) and I'm not sure whether I should keep my hat on or just say, "to hell with it," and go bare-headed. I'm so self-conscious about my hair, though...Ugh. I don't know what to do.
Well, aside from all that, I'm really excited to be home.
One other note: I was with a friend today and I saw a picture of Britney Spears walking around in broad daylight wearing little more than a swimsuit and said, "Really? You're going to wear that in public? What were you thinking?" My friend then said, "I mean..she shaved her head, so what do you expect?"
I've shaved my head three times because of trich. It didn't make me feel too good about myself.
Oh well.
