21 and Counting

Ok...  Got a big dose of encouragement for my diet today... I went to the doctor and I've lost 21 pounds... I'm so grateful.  I feel like God is holding my hand.  I'm also grateful to my friends at the gastric bypass support group.  I read the posts and just feel so much hope.  Its been awhile since I felt like this.  Thank you all of you with the group.
I've changed my eating habits quite a bit...  I'm drinking a protein drink (140 calories) for breakfast made from a whey product I got from Walmart...  (Right around $20 - (27 scoops/protein drinks... a lot cheaper than the prepared protein drinks) Its pretty good and it has like 42g of protein... The protein helps me not feel so hungry... About mid morning I have a bowl of oatmeal... Walmart brand apple/cinnamon sugar free (110 calories) Lunch lean cuisine (250 -300 calories) or if I'm feeling like I really want to cut the calories I eat a can of tuna (water pack)(100 c) and a salad with fat free Italian dressing (20 c).  Mid afternoon I can have like a protein bar its around 200 calories... I don't like them so I've been doing two slices of whole wheat bread (50 c ea = 100c) and 1 tbs of peanut butter (105 c) so still around 200 calories and I like it...  We decided when I went to the dr today that I was going to start doing a second protein drink for the mid afternoon snack instead as I've been feeling weaky...  Supper similar to lunch.  I had a baked potato (no butter) with sour cream and a salad from Wendy's yesterday... I feel okay about that... eating cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, cabbage as I like... but actually looking to decrease that as I won't be able to eat a lot of that for some time after surgery... so finally an hour before bedtime protein drink or oatmeal or one piece of toast with 1 ts of peanut butter on it...

Now 10 % isn't a whole whole lot... but its quite a bit more then 0.
