2 quick updates from DailyStrength.
COMPUTERS AND STUFF
First, we apologize for some of the problems you may have had recently with the speed or functionality of the site. In the last few weeks, we've had many new folks come to the site, and at times, the site became slow or briefly disconnected.
The good news is that we're working nonstop to fix the problem, and we've made lots of headway. Thank you for your patience. Please note that none of our concerns are security-related...the site's simply just been a bit slower than we'd like it to be.
NEW COMMUNITIES
We've launched a ton of new communities in the last few weeks, including:
- Stepfamilies
- Healthy Sex
- Transgender
- Widows & Widowers
- Child Support & Custody
They're small now but growing fast.
You can find any of these by searching (use the box above) or by browsing through the list of Communities.
If you have any ideas for new communities, please drop us a note!

Doug: Thanks, but Widows and Widowers sound like spiders--I have preferred to be considered a surviving spouse--maybe the older generation appreciated it, but it seems so harsh. I am surviving spouse, and I\'m not ready to give up my husband--he is still my spouse whether he is still alive or not. Can the name be changed? I don\'t think it would be a community I\'d participate in because of the \"named placed upon us\" is a cruel word. It sounds like we are dead--we aren\'t--we are surviving day by day. My husband\'s work had on the form: Surviving Spouse, Married, Divorced. It does sound dignified. Thanks--just a small comment.
Thanks Doug; It\'s a blessing that someone out there cared enough to create a web site that would help a lot of people. The different suggestions and encouragement we get from one another is great. It brings a little sanity to this unsain world we suffers live in.
Thanks for the site, and the recent work. Healthy sex? I\'d like to join that community... someday, sounds like fun!

Doug, thanks for all the improvements to the site. I have a suggestion for another one to add, \"Pets\". Many of us have pets we love and have been with us through all our problems and some have not survived. They are our children for those of us who have kids and those of us who don\'t have any. Thanks for the updates and keep it coming. Love the site and the wonderful people in it.

Thanks for the update - I\'m still getting weird links when I get a message or something - it takes me to a totally unrelated website! Don\'t know if that\'s something you\'re working on or not. But hopefully it\'ll be fixed soon. Thanks
