Update

Wow. I am currently living the life of an empty nester. All three of my adult children are out of the house. I think that this is the first time that one or another hasn't been in the house.It's a lot quieter and the food budget is much less.
I kind of miss the noise but there are advantages too. MTV and the UFC shows are now history. I like that a lot. But I don;t want to jinx things by talking about the advantages too much,what with the economy being what it is  I'll just enjoy the moment.
I haven't had any health problems get any worse, so that's fine too. It's supposed to snow tonight and I'll just sit inside and enjoy the view. My younger son is supposed to come by and shovel my driveway tomorrow which is also nice. I have no intention of being one of those seniors who has a heart attack shoveling snow.
So I'll just sit back and watch the snow...and the BCS Championship Football game.
Hey, I haven't changed that much. In fact I'm writing this at half time of the game.
Julie can't wait for football season to be over but she should watch what she wishes for. In April baseball season starts. Ain't life grand?
