Update

I think maybe I'm getting a handle on this cold.... finally. I have been struggling with it for about three weeks now. It has of course played havoc with my asthma and glucose control.My PCP had me come in again and he put me on the 5 day antibiotic pack as well as told me to use my nasonex, zyrtec and inhalers. He also started me on glimepride for my diabetes. 
I seem to feel a bit better,at least for some of the day and cruddy the rest. That'sstill  an improvement over last week when I felt terrible all the time.
Hopefully this is a harbinger of good things to come.
