I have a little extra time on my hands so I guess I'll make a journal entry. (I know,...big whoop) I didn't have the lumbar puncture on Wednesday because my neurologist found out that they had scheduled the wrong procedure. Instead of a one hour out patient procedure I have to have a more extensive test. This procedure is also an outpatient test but requires the better part of the day and I have to have someone with me. Then I have to retun the next two days for further checks.I'm scheduled for this test next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. My wife will come along with me. That's good. It gives her a chance to boss someone else around. The poor hospital doesn't know what it's in for. Speaking of my wife, it is our anniversary today. 33 years. That's a long time. My wife swears that I robbed the cradle. Cradle...or dance (which is where I remember we met) she's a keeper.Later today we plan to go out to celebrate. Dinner and a movie. Not too exciting I know but it's about all that I can handle just now. Hope that you all have a great weekend,Tom p.s.I'm glad that my neuro followed up and corrected things so that I did not get the wrong test. If I need the shunt surgery, I hope that she's just as careful. I'd hate to come to after surgery and find that I was still unsteady on my feet but had a nice hip replacement. Maybe I'll shave my head and mark the surgery area with an X. Tom
