Update
It's a good thing that I'm retired. Otherwise I would not have time for my doctor appointments. Now my PCP wants me to come in. So my schedule now has me seeing the neurologist on Monday, my pcp on Friday and my pulmonologist the following Tuesday. (At least I don't need to see the ENT doc anytime soon. I think we're finished...at least for now). It's all an elaborate balancing act it seems. When I get medicine to treat one condition, it causes another to go a bit haywire. I am making the rounds basically to achieve a balance that works. So far it has proven a bit harder than we hoped. Hopefully the neuro doc will be a very short lived relationship. I'm a bit overscheduled. I had a lot of trouble with balance and tremors today so I don't know. One good thing is that I don't have the head aches or migraines that often accompany neuro problems. So maybe it will wind up being a combo of meds and/or low blood sugar. I hope so. I don't need anything else right now. Other than that, not much happening. I don't feel bad...just tired. Will check in again soon. Be well,Tom

Ah Tom, I hear the weariness in your writing. It is good that you are retired! At least some of the relationships with these doctors are short-term. Hold onto that, okay? This means things will get better. I hear what you are saying as far as a balancing act and one condition stirring up another. It is frustrating to say the least. I\'m concerned about your tremors and hope you get some answers soon. As far as your balance...be really careful. Maybe your neurologist will suggest a good neuro physical therapist to help you work on balance issues. Stay safe.
Tom,
Your plate is definitely full. I\'m getting tired just thinking about it. It would be so nice if all kinds of doctors could be in one building. That way you could just go from one to the next and get it all done in one shot.
I think I remember you saying that your doctors do communicate with each other though. If so, that is a very good thing. All these medicines they put people on is crazy. I know we need them to keep us going, but the side effects and conflicts are just horrible. If the scientists are smart enough to invent them, couldn\'t they just tweak them a bit to make them safer and easier to use? OK, stepping off the soap box now.
I hope the neuro has good news for you and it only takes a med change to balance you back out again.
