11/6/2007I don't know what to think anymore. I have been feeling well lately so I didn't think I was in for any difficulties healthwise. WRONG. At my pulmonologist's office today I began coughing for some reason and blacked out. Well, this got everyone at the doctor's office all excited and they began talking about esophagal tests and a possible airway stent. While I expressed some hesitance about doing anything drastic (I said something along the lines of"are you crazy?") We agreed to monitor the situation. While I was lucky that this happened in the doctor's office, it did scare me a bit. What if it happened a few minutes earlier while I was driving? I go to see the asthma genius at the lung center next month and my pulmonologist is going to confer with him. I have had one prior black out about a year ago, on November 8...at that rate I guess I'm good until next fall. I'll finish now. So, while I sit and clear my head, I hope you are doing great.Be well, tom

My goodness...so sorry to read this happened to you, Tom. Glad your pulmMD will confer with your \"asthma genius\". They will figure this out. I\'m so thankful this didn\'t occur while you were driving as you said. Please take it easy the rest of the day, ok?
