10/31/2007Even though it's almost 1a.m. ,November 1st, I'm still going to list this as October 31st. I'm doing that because this entry is about the day just passed. I have been getting around more the last day or so. Maybe I have finally shook the crud I was fighting last week. I went to SAM's to pick up a few things and did pretty well. I did sit down a bit but overall it went OK.Halloween was fun in the neighborhood. All the little kids in their costumes were great. Many were a little shy and their parents had to help them say trick or treat. Of course, then there were those that would boldly march right up and clean out all your candy if you let them. Some of the neighbors invited us to join them outside around one of those outdoor fire kettles and jointly hand out candy. I had to pass,though,  because of the smoke from the fire, but Halloween was still nice.I hope everyone had a nice day.Be well,tom
