9/24/2007Not a lot going on today. I'm feeling pretty good so that's something. Just the same old sore ribs but I guess that's as good as it gets. My pulse rate is still a bit elevated so maybe I'll ask the doctor about starting up on labetalol again. I see him again next week so I'll ask him then.I think I'm starting to sound like I'm complaining... but I'm not. Actually,I think I'm in pretty good shape  for the shape I'm in. My wife and I are season ticket subscribers to a local theater.(how's that for an abrupt change of subject?) They put on some terrific plays. The most recent one we saw was one called "The History Boys". It is set in an English Boys School and for the most part is funny. Like most supposedly comic plays I see there,though, this one had a dark side. I don't care for that much. I guess some playwrights have to insert a seamy underbelly so that they "are true to their craft". I wish that a comedy could just be a comedy.Well, I've run out of things to ramble on about so I'll sign off.Be well,Tom
