9/19/2007Good news. I have made a lot of progress adjusting to my new BP med. I have been checking my bp and pulse rate daily per my doctor's instructions. I use the same machine at my pharmacy to eliminate different mechanical reads from one machine to another. today  my bp was finally down to 131/80 and my pulse rate was 76! Success!!I'm not going to get too excited until I see if I can sustain this and until I go see my doctor for a followup. It is encouraging,though, since my BP and pulse rate were significantly higher just 2 days ago. Maybe I'm finally over the hump with this new med. I have my fingers crossed.I hope everyone is doing great.Be well,tom
