9/8/2007I have been able to get out  and get a lot of things done the last couple of days. I've run a lot of errands, got an oil change, and got some landscaping supplies. I don't do the landscaping myself anymore because of various health issues but I can still get the supplies. (especially since they load it for you) My wife found this nice young fellow who does handyman work on the weekends. He is very skilled and does great work. He isn't cheap but he is reasonable. We are getting ready to entertain my brother and my nieces and nephews tomorrow but may have to cancel due to bad weather. After near drought like conditions, the rain is welcome but it also comes with some heavy storms. If it doesn't stop soon we'll call it off. No sense risking a wreck during stormy weather. If we do cancel, I'll have to eat hot dogs and potato salad for quite some time to come. OH well, there are worse things.that's about all for now. Be well,tom
