It's starting to heat up again around here. It's supposed to climb back up to the mid 90's again. Maybe it's in all in my head but I can feel it already. My breathing isn't as good as it was. I went out to drop off my insurance papers at the retirement office and felt like I had just completed a marathon. My chest was tight and I was a little tired.
I already knew that the buildings at my former place of employment triggered my asthma but I didn't think that it could happen so quickly.
I guess the heat helped exacerbate things.
Oh well, I'm home now and I feel better out of the heat. My nebulizer helped too. So the pity party is officially over...for now.
Overall, I had a nice weekend...I didn't really do much but it was nice.
My kids were more active. tommy is settling in at college and seems determined to succeed. He's a 29 year old freshman who has had a wild past but seems to be maturing. We shall see.
Robert went on an overnight float trip. He had a good time but he returned extremely sun burned. He used sun block but I guess not enough.
Katie spent the weekend with friends so it was just my wife and I. It was kind of peaceful except for all the calls from the people the kids forgot to tell that they would be gone.
So all in all, not bad. It may sound kind of dull but sometimes, at my stage of life, dull is fine by me.
Be well,
tom

Tom,
I\'m glad your weekend was a good one. I can relate to dull being welcome at this point in life. I\'m in search of dull, myself! You are very articulate as to describing what it is like to venture outside. Simple excursions are challenging and that is what is so awful about this condition. Re: your kids, how wonderful to have a 29 year old wild boy who is growing up! I can relate to this, too. I have 3 kids, 28 this month, 25 and 23. Isn\'t it great to see the kids become adults?? Do any of your kids have asthma? Just wondering and hoping not. ==Rona
