8/23/2007At the risk of being Johnny One Note, my ribs are still very sore. the doctors say that it is due to my coughing so much but I don't think so. I think that I must be nodding off during the day and then,while I'm sleeping,  I drive to the St.Louis Rams practice facility and scrimmage with the team. Practice must have been a bear today because my ribs are very touchy. I'll have to ask coach to ease up a bit. (I hope I made the first down).When I'm conscious,  I am again house bound. temperatures around here are creeping back up into the "Omigosh it's hot!" range.  Best to hole up for awhile...again.I guess I'll grab a beer and go soak in the tub (medicinal purposes only...sore ribs don't you know. Hey, I might as well get something out of the deal!)  So while I'm here waiting for an offer from the Rams, I'll sign off for now. Be well,tom
