8/2/2007Just call me homebody. It remains very hot and the weekend promises to be hotter still. I have some things to do but I am going to limit my outside activities until it cools down some. Why today was so hot that when I looked outside and saw a dog chasing a cat...they were both walking. ( I love old jokes.) At any rate, I'm staying inside.there really must be something in the air. My nose is running more than Carl Lewis. My wife is trying to give me some of her antihistamine pills. Julie is a little annoyed because I won't take it until I check with the doctor. I take so much stuff already that I'm afraid of a bad interaction ...maybe grow a second head or something. (that might not be all bad. then when I talked to myself I wouldn't feel so odd. No, on second thought a second head would raise all sorts of other issues...it might be a Cubs Fan!) Julie is just going to have to be annoyed for now.Cool Runnings, Mon,tom

LOL They may be old jokes but they\'re new to me. I do enjoy your journal so.
I guess the vast majority of people in the US have Indian blood. Most of them Cherokee. It was a big, handsome, randy Nation. I am one-quarter Creek. They\'re not nearly so romantic figures as the Cherokee. They were tiny, as in very short and squat, and downright ugly. I saw a picture of my great-grandmother. It was old and grainy; she looked for all the world like a little, shrunken troll in a sun bonnet. Unfortunately I inherited her nose and her short stature. Thanks Granny!
