8/1/2007If these are the dog days of summer then the dog can have them back. It's brutal outside. Of course, it being August, it's supposed to be brutal. I guess I was spoiled by all the cool weather we had been blessed with the last couple of weeks. But Sirius-ly folks (Sirius...the dog star..get it? ..OK, OK, I know...GROANNNN)..it is hot!It has caused me to stay inside a lot. If I go outside, even briefly, it gives me trouble. the heat seems to have sapped my energy as well. I haven't posted or done much of anything because of fatigue...I may have to ask Lois or Jimmy to search for heat activated kryptonite because Superman (me, thank you very much) is weakened.But it hasn't weakened my indomitable spirit!!! Besides...the heat should break in a couple of weeks. I must say in all honesty that I prefer the heat of summer to the cold of winter so I really shouldn't complain. (too late now, huh?) Oh well, not much going on....just chilling (not easy in this heat). I hope you had a great day.Be cool,(literally)tom

I\'m happy it actually feels like summer, you funny, funny man. I don\'t feel cold for the first time this summer. I didn\'t realise it was August already.
You asked me about the driveway. It\'s still in the talking about stage. With Andrew that can be a very long time, or sometimes he\'ll take a wild hare and do something without even talking about it. Your guess is as good as mine.
