6/22/2007I"ve just gotten up from my 16 hour nap. I do seem to feel a little better although very sore in the ribs and chest. I didn't work last night and will not work tonight to see if exhaustion is the cause of my recent problems. When I work the 3rd shift I seldom get more than 5 hours of sleep. As a result I know that I am then more vulnerable to asthma attacks and other undesirable health issues. Knowing what the problem is and doing something about it are two very different things. I just can't sleep well in the day time. I use the term exhaustion as opposed to fatigued because I literally collapsed into bed last night. I still feel a little dragged out but nowhere nearly as bad as yesterday. I have things I need to do but I don't know if I have the energy...and that's not like me. When I'm feeling good I'm a little hyper. Usually jobs undone will remain on my mind until I take care of them. Come to think of it, today is no different in that regard. I'm going to get going...all I needed was a little respite as a jump start. Well, up and at 'em....the first step's the hardest..and any other cliche I may have missed. It's time to see what I'm capable of today. (If I experience any more chest pain I'll stop and call the doctor although I know where he'll send me.)Enough delay. time's a-wastin'!!! (Almost missed that little gem!)Be well, tom
