5/26/2007Back from vacation ,more or less in one piece. Branson was great. It's gaudy, hokey, corny and FUN.  We went to several shows  and particularly enjoyed yakov Smirnoff and cruising on the Branson Belle Showboat on tableRock Lake. I haven't been down there since '95 and it has really expanded. the surrounding countryside was spectacular and the lakes were impressive. I also really like the area because it's only a 4 hour drive from good ol' St. Charles. We spent more than we planned but that's the way vacations always go.Back to the old grindstone for another month or two. I haven't had much of a problem with my asthma while on vacation. Work? Well we'll see. Hopefully asthma remains under control for the next couple of months. We shall see.Going out for dinner in a little while. It's my birthday and I'm 39.(Give or take a  couple of decades. Hey, it worked for Jack Benny!)Be well,tom
