Up early again. It looks like a nice day.

I have already faced my first major obstacle of the day. I have gotten my daughter up for her class. It was surprisingly easy. I only had to knock 3 times.(Just like the old song)

I don't know what it is about the nebulizer but I have almost stopped coughing. (Nebulizer, where have you been all my life?..or at least for the last 10 months.) Even mild exertion is still a problem (SOB)but ordinary activities are OK. (Score one for the wives)

Back to work tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. I'm sure that they are going to be thrilled with all the time off I've had to take. Maybe I'll have to remind them that the job can sometimes be just a little physically demanding...and I was not at the top of my game. I have been approved for intermittent family leave and I have a medical excuse from the pulmonologist to boot but they'll still know better. My devious plot to take time off by developing this disease won't fool them one bit. It must be nice to be an administrator and know better than anyone. It's the next best thing to being a teen ager.

that last paragraph came off just a little bitter. I'm not really. My real test is whether the old bod can continue in that environment. Administrators are a minor annoyance. My main battle is with myself, a much more formidable foe.

Be well,
tom

I\'m so glad you\'re feeling better, maybe not 100% but who\'s counting? You don\'t seem to be too keen on the idea of retirement or is it that your health could force you into it early? Working for the government, Andrew has a very low opinion of administrators because they never seem to know anything about the real work involved in a job. You may have just found that place between the rock and the hard place.

I am skirting around the issue of retirement but I fear that\'s where I\'m headed. too much stress..too many triggers.
Now dying with your boots on is one thing when it\'s figurative. In my case it could be literal in that environment. My days there appear to be limited.
Only bad thing about it is what would I do with myself then? Guess I\'ll become a joiner.
