Insomnia may not be the problem I thought that it was earlier. Shortly after my last journal entry I seem to have fallen asleep in the chair.(it is quite comfortable)Maybe I should get a lazyboy to sleep in. That'll keep my head elevated and my breathing won't wake me...I hope.
Again I'm struck by the restorative power of rest.(someone advised me I needed more. Perhaps I should listen.) I feel better. Still shaky..but better.
Now that I've nebulized, tested, inhaled and swallowed I'm ready for the day.(If the Minute Men depended on me, we'd all still be British. Cricket anyone?)
Oops. Just heard from the wife. Nix the lazyboy. Doesn't go with her decor. (Hell, I barely do) It was worth a shot.
She accuses me of making my illness my hobby. Of course she's right. When you have problems breathing it sorta gets your attention. I would not even be aware of a site like this if I hadn't fixated on asthma following my diagnosis . Of course it's my hobby,my obsession,my focus,..whatever you want to call it. I just want to be back where I was a year ago. Blissfully ignorant..and strong. (Sorry for the little flash of irritation)
Now with that little adrenalin boost(thanks to my helpmate. Hobby my butt! I'll hobby her!) I think I'm ready to go. Hope everyone has a great day.

You have every reason to fixate on your illness. What\'s more basic and affecting than breathing. I have to move slowly because of my asthma. I sure couldn\'t handle a job. You haven\'t lost it, you just need to do it more slowly. Hug.
thanks. She didn\'t mean anything. She just doesn\'t know.
