I had to come home early last night. My wife and daughter were at war.

My daughter called me at work and was hysterical. My wife got on the other line and was not much better. they renewed their conflict while on the phone with me. (2 redheads. Lord help me!!) I came home to prevent the fight from escalating into a physical clash.

My daughter is 24 and has emotional issues. My wife is relentless when she thinks she's right. A recipe for disaster.

I got home and my daughter declares she wants to kill herself. these type of declarations can never be taken lightly and we will seek counseling for her.(Again) the trouble is she won't go more than once. She'll find something she doesn't like about them and stop.

My wife, as I said,is relentless when she has a bee in her bonnet. She will tear into the unhappy victim of her displeasure with awesome fury. When she is unhappy with our daughter, who has anger issues, it's on. Big time!

I have tried to find a half way house situation for my daughter without any luck. She does need to be on her own but has no means to do it. She suffers from depression and anger management issues. Because of her depression she is lethargic and has gained a lot of weight. Of course, this makes her even more depressed. She has returned to college this year and so far is doing well. So maybe there is some hope.

I don't see any easy answers. I guess I just wanted to vent. tomorrow will be better. Be well,
tom

If you do ever come across any easy answers, please share them with me. That\'s really bad when you have to leave work over it. Andrew gets very angry when I call him at work. I\'d better be having a heart attack to do that.
My daughter and I don\'t get along. She\'s not allowed to come here, so I know where you\'re coming from there too. Andrew is not happy in his roll of mediator, but it\'s that or Patricia killing me in a fit of rage. I suppose every family is dysfunctional, just some more than others. Why should your\'s and mine be any different?
