It has been a really enjoyable week for me, I have been able to take the time to observe many things in my life, and give much thanks for all that I have. I have been getting lot of comments on how good I am starting to look, and what great shape I am getting in. The last 6 months my body just wouldn't respond to exerise, no matter how hard I would push it, I think this was mainly due to my recovery from my CFS, and my body basically said "look, I am going to do it my way this time" and my body took its time, but now Its really starting to get into gear.
I have been doing a lot of running, last night I ran so hard, there was a massive thunderstorm coming, so I made it shorter, but more intense, and man, I ran harder than I have in my life, even before the time I was sick and I was an athlete. I just felt like I couldnt be stopped, like I was taking on the world! When I got to the end I looked up and put my fists in the air like rocky did when he ran up the stairs in philly. It was such a personal acheivement, I felt so free, and even though I haven't worked or been to school in years, so accomplished. Once, I couldn't lob myself a few hundred meters without wanting to fall over and cry, now I couldn't be stopped. It gave me hope, incredible hope, that all cfs sufferers can be well one day, I felt like I was running for them, and carrying them on my shoulders.
