I've actually been feeling OK recently.  My GI switched me from Asacol to Colazol (I'm taking the generic Balsalazide 750 mg 3 tablets 3x per day).  Haven't noticed any weird side effects and have been taking them for two months now. I did have a day at the end of July where I noticed quite a bit of mucous but things seem to have settled down since then.  Now I'm agonizing about a colonoscopy I have scheduled for next week.  Wondering whether to postpone it.  Every time I take the prep for the colonoscopy I end up starting with a flareup of my UC.
