OK, not sure what is going on now. I'm still taking 40 mg prednisone and things appeared to be improving....but the past couple of days I started bleeding again - not a lot but still cause for concern. The timing of this has coincided with my period which for some reason always makes my UC worse during a flare up - I have my fingers crossed that things will improve again in the next couple of days. Good news is I actually slept for about 7 hours last night without having to get up to use the bathroom and without laying wide awake because of the prednisone.
