OK, so this time it worked. My ulcerative colitis flare up seems to be improving. I have been taking 40 mg of prednisone for three weeks now. Can't wait to get of it but you can't rush these things. I am dreading the 'puffy face' that for me is the worse side effect since people notice these things. I can't tell you the number of photo's I have of myself at family events with this strnage looking face that really isn't me. Anyway the other side effect I have a problem with is lack of sleep - I can't seem to get more than four hours at a time which is starting to bother me. This morning I woke up with a cold, I suppose my immune system just isn't up to fighting this one off.
