Things are still going well. I am tired, not sleeping well at night. It is hard to settle down at night, my mind is racing. I want to do things after they put me in bed for the night. It is neat to do things again. I want to go through the day just trying things. I need to calm down and take it slow not to over do things.
For the first time in yrs I can draw and crochet. Being able to do things that I have not been able to do in yrs, make the days  excitting. Crochetting is very good for the fingers and hands.
Still able to do physio, doing 10 mins in early am 5 late afternoon and 10 before bed 8 pm. They do not want me to do too much and tire out my muscles. I wanted to start the "bike" this week but I have to wait to next. The bike is neat it is powered, so if you can't go around by yourself it does it for you, then it tells you how much you are doing yourself and how hard you are doing it. They said if I got worse they would not know what caused it. One new thing a week, slow steps.
I can type easier, and in general use my fingers better. I am getting stronger everyday, I can raise my body up off of the chair pushing with hands on the arms of the chair I can lift one leg off of the chair at a time when up in the air. My upper back is a bit sore but not bad.
I can not wait until I start to volenteer. I am making some things now, in dec they are having a sale and I am donating some crafts, they said that they would pay for my supplies so that is great for me. In dec I am going to show a group how to make "quilted" christmas balls you hang on the tree. We are going to make allot of them and sell them at the sale. I am also going to start to knit baby & tot's sweaters and slippers. They can really use the money.
It feels so good to be of use again. When I talked to the volenteer coordinator she seemed to think that I would be good on the crisis line so the next time there is a training class I will be in it. I do not know how I feel about that, but it would be good to help others. She told me that if it is not for me just tell her. She goes out of her way to make sure that I feel welcome, The center is wheelchair accessable which is great and she told me to let her know how they can make changes to the place to make it more welcoming for women in chairs.
