For the first time in my life I had to stay in the hospital over night I do not know if I told you guys this but I had a headache since Thursday I called my ob and she thought that it was just from the cold and give me a Zpack to clear it up but the headache just wouldn't go away so on Sunday night my husband and dad took me in to the hospital because I'm over 16 weeks I had to been seen in labor a del. so they took my blood pressure and the nurse told me to turn onto my left side she turn out the lights a told me she had to get the doctor so I asked her what was wrong and she told me just relax I asked her what was my blood pressure and she said that she wasn't telling me so they went to get my husband and the doctor who came in and let me know that my bood pressure was 186 over 97 and that it should be around 120 over 80 and on top of the headache that I had I could have a stroke or something could happen to the placenta if they couldn't get it down so like a crazy person I go "will can I go home tonight" they look at me a said your in here for the night hun then that is when it hit me like a ton of bricks that something was really wrong so they put me on some IV meds and told me to stay relaxed and it slowly came down but then they found a new problem they took urine and found something called keytones in my urine now I know that is not the right spelling but that is what it sounds like so bear with me I had not really had anything to eat because my head was killling me a plus all the pass day that I wasn't doing so hot my body was living off of it's fat store and making me sick and that is why I have been losing so much weight it doesn't do anything to the baby only me so they let me know that untill the keytones were gone I would be in the hosital and that they needed to do an ultrasound to check out that placenta the next day and they only way to get my body back to where it should be is to eat and drink so I had a nice breakfast that I half eat and when my ob came in at 7am she let me know that she was putting me on an ensure diet untill I could pick up some weight so I went to my ultrasound yesturday morning I saw all the baby's organs since my ten week ultrasound the baby had grown so much and the baby was moving like crazy all over the place so after she looked at everything she asked what do you want a boy or a girl and I said a boy but I would be happy if it was a girl so she said guess what I can't tell and since you have already had three ultrasound this baby sex is more than likely going to be a surprise intill you give birth I was shocked and pissed all at the same time the baby is breech right now but she let me know that the baby is really active and she or he still has time to flip she showed my the baby's butt and everything but we just could tell so looks like it's yellows greens and whites for us so after that I went back to my room a went to sleep for a couple of hours the doctor came in and told me that the ultrasound look perfect and the my labs were normal and that I was free to go I was so happy I'm still really weak and tired but I just wanted to let you guys know what happen so I going to sign off and go back to bed I'll keep you guys posted and my doctor took me of the metformin she thinks that has something to do with me not putting on any weight
