today I was looking for some more information so that I could be prepared for my doctors visit on friday and I came across something that really got me to thinking I can remember beening about 18 or 19 and going to my gyn because my period was like four months late and I can remember him running some test and telling me that he really didn't find anything but that my prolatin levels were high and I asked him was it and he told me my body was producing milk but I wasn't leaking any milk from my breast or anything so I asked him was this something for me to worry about a he told me no so I forgot all about it then I can also remember when I lived in salt lake city and I saw a fertility doctor he also told me that I had high levels of prolactin in my body but he made it seem like it was nothing now when my new doctor run a her test she never said anything about prolactin levels but today I found out some information about hyperprolactinemia you have high levels of prolactin in you body and irregular periods and headaches now I know sometimes you read stuff and srart thinking that what I have and your just over reacting but I'm really starting to think that this is what could be wrong with me and all my doctor have been over looking it what are the chances of me having all of the side effect and the main side effect is infertility because it does something to your estrogen levels they have meds for hyperprolactinemia and 85% to 95% become pregnant with treatment I feel so mixed up because if this is what the problem is how could my doctors over look something like this and my doctors really couldn't penpoint the reason why I couldn't get pregnant maybe I'm just over reacting I hope so but on a better note my appointment is tomorrow and I'm so happy it feels like it took forever for it to get here so hopefully one way or the other I will get some answers hopefully that led into the baby I so badly want

I, personally, would contact my former OB/Gyn and request a copy of my medical records so I could show them to my doctor. Just a word of advice...Take care.
