Yeah!!!

WOW, what an exciting week it was for my family last week!  As some of you may know my son competed in the USATF Junior Olympics Thursday - Sunday.  He was in three events and came home with 3 medals.  Over 8,200 athletes participated in the event.  It was sooooo hot in Maryland.  I had my little battery operated fan, umbrella, hat, sun screen and a cooler full of water and food.  I'm about 3 shades darker so I certainly got a tan lol. 
Thanks all for the well wishes.  I dropped my husband and son off at the airport Monday morning to catch a 6am flight for the AAU Junior Olympics in Houston Texas.  My son had to run that day, so he didn't get hardly any rest and went from the plane to the track.  He just missed qualifying for the finals.  He still has more events so we are hopeful that he will come home with more medals.  He will get a couple of days to rest since he did not qualify for the finals yesterday.  I did better than I thought after 4 days in the heat.
