Spring

I think this is a difficult time of year for us all.   I am having a rough time and my daughter said yesterday she just had to take flowers, and go talk to her sister and play her favorite song.
I hurt for her because she has lost her baby sister.  When they were little she would get so upset if Karina got hurt.   Now the worst nightmare and pain of losing her.  Miriam had so wanted to help her, but Karina was very protective of letting anyone in too much.   If things could have been different, she would still be with us.    I blame the final end on medications to a large extent.   Oh how wish this were not the true story.

Yes it\'s hell. Sometimes I think at \"death\" we\'ll \"wake up\" to find that we\'ve been in purgatory. The worst thing that could happen has happened to us, it\'s so unfair, it erases so much of our joy and it colors the world. It\'s almost like wearing tinted glasses, isn\'t it? What is the purpose....as a dear friend said yesterday, we don\'t know that now, perhaps in the next \"world\" but it won\'t matter then. I think we need to keep a foot in both worlds, this and the next, and remind ourselves that we aren\'t alone, we don\'t have to carry this alone. I hope you find some little peace today, I know how hard it is.

I hear you loud and clear Cheryl. Jim my son, is suffering too over Jason\'s death. It\'s so hard on all of us. I wish I could make it better for him. Jason was Jim\'s younger brother too and protected him as he was growing up. Sending you hugs and love for you and Miriam and especially Karina . Terry

Grief is more unbearable, I think, when everyone in the household is in it. No one can care for the other because it is so overwhelming....one bleak shadow cast over the entire family. I do hope for better days for your daughter, Miriam. My daughters seem to have gotten over the deep kind of sadness...but I just shut my bedroom door and share it with God and the four walls.....love and brandon bear hugs, dale..brandon\'s mom

I know my son aches for his sister....so much guilt and sibling grief bottled up in his heart....I can\'t seem to touch that part of him....

I\'m sending you a tight, understanding hug from my heart to yours (((hug)))!
