I so understand....in time, dear friend, it will not always be this way. I promise...as strange as that may sound. I still get sad with a few songs, though. My heart is with you at this very tender time....God bless you and give you peace...love, dale..brandon\'s mom

Yes this is a bad month. Personally, I have memories of my daughter going into the hospital mere days before Christmas and then totally decompensating on Christmas and going back to the hospital the next day. A bad month. I\'m trying to change this month, I\'m trying to concentrate on the REAL meaning of Christmas, that someday, because of Him, I will see my daughter, hold her in my arms, especially since I was given that vision of her at the end of October. I serve an awesome God. Hold onto the Promise.

So many memories are triggered at this time of year. Please know that somehow we get through this time, and somehow our hearts are bigger and richer from the experience.
I am so sorry that we all share this sorrow.
Holiday hugs, Rebecca

i was just telling a friend of mine lately how much i hate hearing Christmas music this year. Christmas music will never be as wonderful as it once was, and i know that\'s a fact. I am celebrating Christmas this year for Christ. If it weren\'t for my other two kids i probably wouldnt even put a tree up. God Bless you!

This is my third Christmas without my Josh and he will be forever be 34 years old. On Thanksgiving I cooked a turkey not even thinking about Chris, my other son (18 months younger.) I don\'t think he was ready to do the holidays again. So on Christmas we will again basically ignore the hoopla, eat Cabbage Burgers and play cards. We will hold Jesus in our hearts and pray before our meal. This has made it easier for our family.

I know that it will not be easy whatever you choose to do, but our moms who have been through this will try to hold you in our hearts.
With love,
Leda
