Busy busy.

We get the keys to our next rental house tomorrow. I am sad to move (again) but glad for some of the perks the new house has to offer. I won't lie, a lot of my angst comes not from having to move from this one but from walking away from OUR house, the one I thought we would live in forever. I still haven't properly mourned that loss.

Don't get me wrong - I am SO glad we moved. I am grateful to be out from under the shadow of the OW and away from triggers and more importantly - on to much, much better things. Our daughter is entering high school in the fall and has applied for the Early College High School. She would never have had any opportunity even close to this one anywhere else. We have friends with common hobbies and interests nearby after less than 2 years of being here. Stuff is good. And in spite of the credit hit of losing the house, we are financially so much better.

I think I still am just bad at embracing change. I wish the landlord here didn't want to sell this house, but I think it stands to reason that there may be many benefits (seen and unseen) to a different house. Plus - it's just a place. And it's not forever.
